TCM herb trips to China offer participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding about TCM herbs by observing these herbs in their natural habitat in the wild, as well as in cultivation.
Trips take place every one or two years, to alternating destinations in China. They are directed towards professionals working with chinese medicinal herbs and other people with strong interest in the field.

This journey takes you from the mountains along the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, through the Yellow River plain, to the ancient capitals of Luoyang and Xi’an. Follow in the footsteps of ancient medicinal plant cultures and recipes. A feast for the curious, with plenty to digest.
We will meet professionals in the field of TCM-medicinals production and be able to establish personal relationships. We will learn about the challenges that have to be met when trying to establish an ecologically, economically and socially sustainable production of high quality medicinal herbs while facing fast growth above all of national demand.
In addition to the above, the trips will offer a deep look into the multicultural societies of the regions we travel to, with their traditions old and new.
